Ok how about favorite brand of baby wipes?

I used to really like Pampers wipes, but ever since they went to pop up I don't care much for them. I like Huggies the best now especially the Huggies Supreme Care.

I do like pop up wipes, just not pampers. You use half the box and they get stuck in the bottom so you are forever having to grab down in the tub to get more wipes. And it seems like they aren't as moist as they used to be.

We use Huggies & Pampers.

I'm not crazy about the pampers pull ups because they always seem to get stuck.
As for them (the pampers ) not being moist enough - the last container i just finished were SOAKED! I had to squeeze excess off. The huggies wipes i am using now are SUPER DRY! I think it just depends on the people packing them.

We don't buy them anymore. We make our own and like them much better than the ones you buy!!

I have said many times that when Alexander is out of diapers that we will continue to make them. Like Tara said, there are so many uses for them. And they are so handy!!

With the boys we always used the Huggies, but once Emily was born Pampers had the pop-ups out and we really love those the best. I never have a problem with them getting stuck or being dry-actually just the opposite! They are always dripping wet towards the end. Luv's has some new pop-ups too, and they are gr8 as well. They fit in the Pampers box and i buy whichever of the two i have coupons for or are the cheapest at the store. I have used the generic ones in the past and they are just crappy. I would rather pay more for the good one. Some things are just worth the money to pay more for.

I don't like them b/c they don't always "pop up" like they should(I have tired several boxes, all the same story)! Usually once half the box is gone they start falling back in the box(instead of being half out like it should be)! Plus they are soaking wet by the time you get to the end of the box!! Also the regular Pampers wipes(before the stupid pop-ups came along) were MUCH better than what they have out now!

Here's the recipe, Meagan. If you have any questions, just ask!!

HOMEMADE BABY WIPES
1 circular baby wipe container
1 roll of paper towels
2 ¼ cups water (we use 1 ½ cups)
2 tablespoons baby shampoo (we use 1 ½ tablespoons)
1 tablespoon baby oil (we use ¾ tablespoon)

Cut roll of paper towels in half and pull out cardboard center. Put roll into container and pull towels up from the center. Mix other ingredients and pour over wipes. Put lid on and pull first wipe through hole in lid.

The amount of water, shampoo and oil can be altered to your liking. We don’t follow the instructions as written because it made the wipes too wet for us. You just have to experiment to see what works best for you. We also double it so that we can make two batches at once which cuts down on how often we have to make them.

I would also suggest using a good, strong brand of paper towels. We use Bounty and others have suggested Viva. Just don’t use the cheap ones because they won’t work well.

Ok using the cheap towels was my problem! I had to make wipes because I was out one time and I just used the towels I had. Thanks for the info!

We use Luvs or Pampers. Whichever of the 2 Walmart has on sale we use.

As for the pop ups, we never make them pop up we always pull up both of the lids and just use them that way.

Everytime I have bought Huggies they were way too dry so we just use Luvs or Huggies. Luvs aren't as wet as Pampers though..at least in my opinion they aren't.

I have always used Huggies Supreme unsented wipes. Same with diapers...Huggies. I have never used Pampers brand on anything. I have sensitive skin and once tried a generic brand of wipes and got a rash on my fingers the same day.

We use Huggies.

I agree with Tara too: there are SO many uses for wipes! I'll be carrying them around in my purse long after my kids need them!

I like Pampers Sensitive now..I never saw them til Rhandi went in the hospital... they worked well when she got a bad rash while she was there. However my usual favorite is Huggies supreme, I like them because they are really thick.

I hate Luvs pop ups!!! Everytime I use them they tear apart and they dont stay up. I use little ones from K-mart or Huggies. I think I will ry to make my own though so I can save money.

I usually buy whatever is on sale and whatever I have coupon for. However, I have been gravitating toward the Huggies brand lately and the bigger bulk packs. Could be because I am saving up the points for the indoor tent and sleeping bag for Cora. Hayden is so excited. He keeps reminding me to check all my packages before I through them away to make sure that I don't through away a Huggies point so we can get his little sis that tent and sleeping bag she wants SO badly! I just need 75 more points! (I don't think the $14.99 for shipping is too bad since I have to have wipes and diapers anyway!)

Also, my hubby really hates the pop-ups right now. I do like the Pampers boxes though. They tend to last longer than the Huggies. My last wipe purchase was Pampers because I needed a new box. It came with a box and bulk package. However, as I said, I tend to get the Huggies. Besides, I usually get more Huggies coupons than Pampers.

Anyone have any Huggies points they don't need? HUH?
