So I made TONS of baby food.

I made strawberries ( I steamed them first then blended w/the cooking liquid)
Mango's ( previously frozen)
Carrots (PF)
Sweet potatoes
Chicken ( which I also added with some sweet potatoes)

Now the question I have, is the strawberries and mangos ok for him to eat? I found out carrots REALLY constipate him... poor guy.

I was reading super baby foods and it doesn't say if strawberries and mangos are ok to eat for a 6 month old.

Stuart has had strawberries - I think it would depend on your family. If you have someone who has a berrie allergy - I might hold off on Strawberries a bit longer.

Mangos - I'm not really sure on.

I've gave my daughter mangos this morning and everything seems fine so far. She really loved them too. I would hold off on the strawberries to be honest, you never know if he could have a food allergy.
Good luck.

I always heard that you shouldn't give babies strawberries until after they are a year old BUT while I didn't give mine straight strawberries, I did feed them yogurt with strawberries in it and never had a problem.

Strawberries are a potential high allergen food and as such, they really should be avoided until 12 months of age.Mango foods high in vitamin C it help your baby absorb more iron from the foods he eats.
