My Right from the Start Nurse gave me this recipe for hypoallergic homemade baby wipes. I was surprised how well they work and they are super cheap.

1 roll Bounty Rinse & Reuse Paper Towels (or other microwaveable paper towels)
2 Tablespoons Baby bath
1 Tablespoon Baby Oil
2 Cups water
Round plastic 3.2 quart container

Cut roll of paper towels in half (so it looks like two rolls of tiolet paper) and take out the center cardboard tub. Mix the water, bath and oil in a round 3 qt container and put the paper towels into it. Then turn over and let the water soak the paper towels all the way through. Pull from the center to use.

Thanks! We used to use this with Christian but haven't so far with Kelsey. I may get back in the habit of making my own.

I especially like the cheap part. Wipes are expensive and I use them for everything.

We started making our own with Alexander and love them. They are so easy to make and so cheap. We also use them for everything and will probably keep making them even after our kids are out of diapers!!

I have used nothing but those since Trey was born!

My girlfriend gave me the recipe and I have been using them since!

The important part is to get good paper towels. Kleenex Viva paper towels work great too!

You can also play around with the recipe. If you find it too wet, use less water next time. Too oily, use less baby oil. That's what we did until we found the perfect combination. And Wendy's right about needing to use good quality papertowels. We tried some cheaper ones and they just fall apart.
