Well, haven't been keeping record last couple of days so here goes...

Wednesday 9/11
It was comfort day due to the events of the day, so I didn't do good at all!

Breakfast:
Pancakes and bacon

Lunch:
2 tacos
beans
chips
cheese dip

Dinner:
Fish
Peas

Dessert:
Sprinkle Ice Cream Bar

Thursday 9/12

Breakfast:
1/2 philly omelet
hash browns

Lunch:
salad
steak
A few bites of 1001 Chocolate Chip Cake from Steak & Ale

Dinner:
Slice Pizza

Dessert:
Ice Cream



I will be starting the Atkins diet tomorrow. I am on a quest to lose this weight BEFORE our anniversary in November. DH and I are going to Las Vegas and I want to be slim and trim. I want to get clothes that will show off my tattoo (DH would love that!!) and want to buy some slinky negligies from Fredericks to surprise him!!!!

Come on Jennifer, you can do it!! I'm starting back on my diet tommorow! I need to lose 21 pounds by Thanksgiving...I hope I can do it.
What is the Atkins diet?

Mamawolf, the Atkins diet is one of the low carb diets. It starts with a two week induction diet where you can only get 21 carbs per day and that is natural carbs through veggies and such not breads etc. No alcohol or not even a piece of candy. No sugar or anything so no ketchup, bbq sauce, etc. You do for two weeks (in which time you can lose up to 20 lbs) and then go on the maintenance diet which incorporates some carbs back, but you are still restricted. I know it isn't the healthiest of diets, but I need something that will show results quickly or I get discouraged. So I figure if I can get through the 2 week induction and then just keep carbs to a minimum I will be ok.
