My neighbor's daughter is named Patience. I've heard of some different names, but that is the most unique that I personally know.

Well, seeing as to how I taught school, here's some--some of these were my kids, others were just at my school.
Radarius
Shaminikka
Jonquil
Donia (pronounced Dawn-Nia)
Chardonnay
Allegra
Kyniece
I also worked with a guy whose name was Tarnace (pronounced like the number 10 + ace)
The only one of those that I can say that I really thought was cute was Jonquil, and she was a sweet girl.
I also worked with a girl named Dondra once, too.

My cousins name is Putri. My husband married an Indonesian lady and it apparently means "princess". I think it's a bit funky though.

I also taught a girl named Unique. Her mom spelled it just like that.
There was also a girl named Mega. Is it just me or does that imply "large?" Though this girl was sweet and not large and had had a rough life already at 14.
Some more I thought of:
Somarie
Tynisha (Tie + knee + shuh)
Rebel--yes that is a boy's GIVEN name!
Ada Obi (Adobe)
Duron

I went to school with an Emory Summerfield Collins the third(as if making one childs life h*ll wasn't enough they had to pass the torch down through the generations).
A man that comes into works first name os Oden.
I met a man once named Theonkin(sp??) pronounced THEE-ON-KIN.
My great uncles name was Duck(and no that was not a nickname).

Lets see...
Obadyia(Gotta love being near Amish country...hehehe)
Peenissa(and that is how the first name is spelled in the computer at work. She goes by Nissa....yikes, who could blame her, WTF WERE HER PARENTS THINKING???)
Vaidron
Bach

I am sure there are more but those are the ones that stick out...

OK my mom told me about these.
This girl at her high school (where my mom works) had a set of twin girls. You know how if you don't have a name they just put "female" Last Name. Well since it was twins she had 2 like this. Seriously she left BOTH their names Female...One is pronounced Female(normal) and the other is pronounced to rhyme with the mexican pepper Tamale. That's what happens when a 15 year old has kids

Seven? Wow--that is weird.

Oh don't forget our member Stephanie(she hasn't been around for the longest time) Her daughter's name is Italy. I never thought of it as a person's name but it fits Stephanie and honestly I think it is a beautiful name.

My friend’s wife works for a doctor’s office. NO LIE. A lady named Sh!+head was one of their patients. Shi-Thee-Uhd.

My aunt taught a girl named Africa. Ah-Free-Kuh.

A lady we used to go to church with worked at the hospital. This lady brought her twins in to have some blood work done. Their names were Lemon Lime (Lee-Moan Lee-May) and Orange Jello (O-ron-jah-lo).

You know what? If I were named Female or Orange Jello, I think I would change my name when I grew up.

What are parents thinking when they name their kids? I had a patient named Stormy once. She admitted that her parents were high when they named her.

Some of these names are crazy I don't think age has anything to do with it though, as I was 15 when I had my daughter.

See, now I was thinking, "Now THAT'S a Star Trek fan"... you know, "Seven of Nine", the borg?

I went to high school with a girl named Chastity. It's a pretty name, but I just think it's too much pressure for a girl, KWIM?

There was a Seinfeld episode where George said that he had come up with the best name for a baby someday and it was Seven. Maybe that's where they got it.

That is SO weird because I work at a hospital and two twin boys had the name orangejello and lemonjello (ora-on-je-low and leh-mon-je-low)! There was also a girl named vagina (va-gee-na). For real. Keister is another one. And an african-american baby boy named Nino (doesn't that mean "boy" in spanish??) I thought calling him "boy" his whole life would be kind of racist but that was what the mom chose.

Ok again I will start this post out by saying.. MY NAME IS SHONA! (Show na).

I've heard of a lot of the names mentioned. I think Kyan is different.

When I was growing up I knew this family that had all girls and named everyone of them after spices.
Ginger, Cinnamon, Rosemary, .. and there was one more.

My Grandmother's name is Nelda
I knew a girl named Sunday
And a girl named Sushanne ( Sue sh anne) ( God I felt sorry for her)
I knew twins named Tamara and Tamara ( Tom air ah and tom ARE ah)
A girl named Autumn
A friend of mine, who registered on here once but hasn't been back, her sone's name is
Victor Van Helsing... (insert last name here)
There was another really odd one that I went to school with but I cannot remember it for the life of me.
