Hi again, I'm not sure how to edit my old post, so I'm making a new one. If you didn't like Adrian Quinn because Adrian sounds somewhat feminine, how does Ethan Quinn sounds in comparison? I know Ethan is quite popular, but I do like the name though.

I would go with Adrian if that's what you really liked originally. Ethan is popular and I don't hear too many kids named Adrian these days.

I like Adrian and Ethan about the same. I like Adrian's sound slightly more, but I prefer Ethan's "strong, firm, steadfast" meaning to Adrian's "Man from Hadria (after Roman Emperor Hadrianus) meaning. Where I live, neither name is really popular, so that's not so much of an issue. Sound (flow and masculinity) and meaning are my top concerns.

http://www.ssa.gov/pressoffice/pr/baby-names2006-pr.htm

Or by your state too you can search
http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

If you're interested there are the top names of 2006. You can search other years or more then the top 10 too.

Have fun picking names. That was my favorite part.

I love it. We vetoed any top 10 name right away so it was nice.

I love the name Ethan. But I think Adrian goes better with Quinn.

I like Adrian better than Ethan. I think you need to go with what YOU and the daddy like. Especially if neither are all that common where you are.
