If you have flower beds, do you have any kind of edging around them (lattice, rocks, brick, cement pavers, landscaping timbers)?

Do you mulch your beds?

Do you have any beds that go around a tree? If so, did you have to build it up before you planted anything?

We have a big area on the side of our house that is landscaped. DH marked areas with rocks within the design. The actual design is not marked with anything. He just edges around it when he mows.

Do you mulch your beds? Yes and use pinestraw also.

Do you have any beds that go around a tree? If so, did you have to build it up before you planted anything? Yes, yes. We just put soil on top of it and try to mix it together as much as possible and then top with mulch or pinestraw depending on where it is.

We have flowerbeds in the front of the house. They are actually edged with monkey grass. There is about 3 inches in front of the monkey grass so we can edge and mow. looks nice but would look even better if I actually put in some flowers!
