Has anyone ever planted honeysuckle bushes? Is it fairly easy to take care of?

I LOVE the smell of honeysuckle!!!

They will take over everything. I can't get rid of the stuff. (I do agree it smells good, I just don't like the way it looks)

I love the smell of honeysuckle. Dh thinks I'm nuts. LOL! My grandmother had it growing wild on her fences when I was little.

Someone planted a bush in our back yard. It grew up and intertwined with a tree that died, and I had to cut both of them down. I swear, that thing was so big that it took over everything. LOL! One they're established, they're there and they're hard to get rid of--you really don't have to do anything to them, as far as I know. If you keep it trimmed, it should be fine. We have them growing along our fence in the back, too.
