Ok here is the story ... our downstairs bathroom needs a new toilet, sink, floor, trim and walls.... our deck needs to be painted, the scrapbooking room doors and trim need to be painted and the room needs to be painted.... and then some other odd jobs......

We have been looking for a house for a little while, me more seriously than Scott... (I have been doing drivebys with Scott but he hadnt gone in any with me yet)so the 1st house we went into this weekend was about $40,000 more than we wanted to spend ... PLUS we were just 'looking' to get a feel for whats out there.... my dream house... TRULY.... we put in an offer and because of that ourhouse had to go on the market.

.... our house isnt even ready to be sold yet - we just were looking and happened to have the chance of a lifetime for my dream house .... everything I always wanted- we bid on it... now our house is on the market today and we still have lots of work to do!!! If someone calls to look at our house tomorrow we will never get our asking price!!! AND our real estate agent told us that we should market and price it to sell, so we didnt even go with the amount she had appraised and assessed our house at... What if no one looks at it? What if no one bids? What if they bid too low???

OMG... I hope we didnt make a huge mistake... I cant even say I will live off of Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches..... Gluten Free bread is expensive!

Scott is freaking out, his dad came over to help fix some stuff today but we still have alot of big stuff... and are we ready to have a house we have to live for and I have to start being cautious???? its double our mortgage now. What did we do? What did we do!??!

I'm confused. You are auctioning off your house? Well I hope it all worksd out for you. Sometimes it's good to take chances if it gets you to the place you want to be!

You will never get anywhere in life if you head to the risks! I think it is great you found a dreamhouse. Just do what you can to your house and try to not stress too much. I wish you the best!

I had a friend who was looking for a new house but wasn't sure if she should put her house on the market while she was looking or wait until she had found a new house. She ended up going ahead and listing her house while she was looking and it all worked out. She had an offer on hers and then found a new house within a week or so. Things will work out - they always do. Good luck!

We had the same rush to get the house ready, Dina. Just work as quickly as you can, try not to go nuts. And who can stand gluten free bread anyway?!
