Anyone have a home or ever live in a home with a rustic sort of theme? I am talking exposed wood and beams etc. Wood floors and maybe even the walls are unfinished. I am not talking never finished just made that way on purpose...LOL

Thinking about my dream home and I think I would like to use maybe real wood paneling but I am not totally sold...think I might get tired of it after awhile.

nope, never lived anywhere like that. I kinda like exposed beams, but I wouldn't want wood paneling--it gets very dated

I don't mean like trailer wood paneling. I am talking real wood...like in a log cabin or something. I hate the fake wood paneling stuff.

I weould prefer the actual wood planks on the walls instead of the log look, which I think I might get tired of. At least with the planks, if you get tired of them you can paint them or drywall over them and do whatever you want to. But I love the look of exposed ceiling beams. That never gets old!
