I have been thinking of doing this in our new house in the entrance way. The entrance way is quite big. We are going to rip up the carpet and put down ceramic tile, in taupe and beige tones. The color I was thinking of for paint it like a Burnt Sienna. Mix of deep orange and red, with brown tones. Very mediteranian. And I wanted to do a suede finish on it to look like suede. Has anyone done it and how does it look. I have seen it on Trading Spaces and it looks so nice.
Thanks!

Yup, we did it in our family room. Bought the stuff at Lowe's. It is a lot of work but it looks really nice. I suggest picking one that has the two different shades of glaze. We started with just one and it didn't look right, imo. Went back and got the second glaze and I was much happier. It is a lot of work though and make sure that you start in a spot that is not as noticable so you can get the technique downpack first.
