Well as of Monday we'll be insured finally! Well actually the kids and I have Medicaid, but Jerm hasn't had any insurance since he was fired so this is awesome! We were twixin' between 2 different plans...deductible or co-payment. The BluePreferred (deductible) covers 90% with a $750 family deductible, then after that it pays %100. John Deere (co-payment) has a $15 co-payment. I think Jerm has decided to go with the co-payment...it sort of averages out the same anyways, except I think we'll save some moolah when Sam's born and has all those blasted newborn appts. We'll have dental as well, the only thing I don't like is it doesn't cover orthodontics for adults like the other we had from A&L. Oh well, I guess I'll live with crooked teeth a while longer! I figure we'll pay around $100 every 2 weeks for insurance, which is menial compared to around $200 at A&L!
I got to remember to stop by DHS to turn in Jerm's new job info as well...his yearly salary will be 25,500, so I know we'll lose the foodstamps, but I don't think we'll need them anymore anyways!
We should be able to keep the medicaid though, for me it'll be until I'm 6 weeks postpartum, for the kids it'll prolly be some time next year when they have to be recertified.
I have my 28 week appt tomorrow...I'm sure it'll be quick as usual! Well, after I get called back it quick, it's the waiting that takes all day!
Jerm was gonna take tomorrow off but when I figured up what his check would be, we wouldn't have enough to pay our bills next week. That stinks!
Jerm's taking Issac to get his hair cut sometime Friday...this'll be the first time anyone besides me will cut his hair! I'm a bit nervous about it...hopefully he won't be a handful and I esp hope they do a good job!
Welp, I'm off to finish my Moolatte!
