I started working part-time a couple weeks ago for a local fast-food joint. I actually really enjoy it. I never work more than 30 hours a week and I get to work evenings, which is what I asked for. It was hard on the kids the first few days, especially Issac. He'd hold on to my legs when it was time for me to leave and say he wasn't gonna let me go. I felt really bad, but he's ok now. I make a little over minimum wage since I'm older, I work with a lot of teens at night. That sure is interesting! Oh the name of the place is Pal's...they have Peachie Tea and it is so good! It's all I ever drink when I'm working. I get all the free tea I want when I"m there and a 75% discount on my food.

It's really scary going back to work, but it was the best thing I ever did for myself. It is so nice to actually have adult conversations. Tell me, do you find yourself talking to the customers like you do your kids??? That was the worst thing when I first started, after years of having only kid conversations....I was always addressing the customers the same way....a HARD HABIT TO BREAK.!

Yeah it's fast food...I wear black pants, socks, and shoes, and we switch between wearing blue and burnt orange shirts. When I first started we were wearing grey shirts. Oh and I wear a black apron as well.
