Ohh I had not thought about fruit...good idea. I am afraid to have anything with peanuts because Maddie is allergic and knowing her she would get into it.

At all my birthday parties I serve chicken fingers (from zaxby's or walmart) chips, potato salad, and cut up subway sandwiches.

What time of day is the party?

We had chips - doritos, cheetos and pretzels
I cut up fruit, watermelon, strawberries and grapes
and then we had cake and popsicles

I would put out goldfish, pretzels, chips and some fruit. If you are doing at lunch time then little tuna sandwiches, P&J sandwiches sound good.

I think I am going to do it from 2 pm to 4 pm. We thought about doing a lunch time party and then grilling out but decided to do it a little later and save some money.

For Alexander's party we are getting pizzas and asking that they cut them into squares so they'll go farther. Or if they won't do that, have them not cut them and then we'll do it at home. Other than that, sounds like everyone has giving you great suggestions. I hope her party goes well.
