Well, I'm finally ready to start the new year - only 10 days late.

Yesterday I returned a wonderful down jacket that DS got from my dad and step-mom. It was great, but the problem is, it is only slightly too big, which means it will fit perfectly in July. So, instead of holding it for a year and risking it not fitting, I decided to return it. Good thing Target had its after-Christmas clearance - I managed to get him 2 pairs of jeans, one pair of dressier pants, a polo shirt, a long-sleeved henly, and two sets of pajamas, and even had 75 cents left over to buy a soda for myself. I had him try it all on last night, and I will probably need to hem the dress pants (if they don't shrink in the wash), but other than that, everything fit well. So my son won't be pantsless this year.

Before we left for CA, our XBox died, and since we're not ready to pony-up the money for an XBox 360, we started watching Craigslist and eBay for a replacement. I managed to find one, and we got it last week - on eBay for $100, and we were able to drive to the lady's house to pick it up, instead of dealing with shipping. Unfortunately, her daughter left a game in it, so she is going to meet me today to pick up the game - I didn't feel right keeping the game, so I gave her the option of either coming to get it, or me mailing it to her. I'm going to tell her to relay to her daughter that she's lucky - some people wouldn't have been so honest about it.

I've started listing things on eBay again. I noticed this morning that one of my items already has a bid, even (listed less than a day). Anything that doesn't sell, I might list on Craigslist, or just Freecycle it. And I simply must stop buying stuff to sell at the thrift store - that is one of my New Year's Resolutions. I have to get rid of a lot of what I've got instead.

That said, another of my resolutions is to work on a crafty project every week or so, at least some. I have so many projects I want to do, and never seem to find the time. If I can actually get off my and do one once in a while, it would go a long way toward reducing some of the clutter around here.

Well, I'm off to be productive. Or something like that.

I am BUSHED! I have washed, folded, and put away 7 loads of laundry today! Nothing but sheets and towels to wash tomorrow!

Oh, and I scrubbed all 4 toilets, washed all 4 bathroom mirrors, and scrubbed all 4 bathroom sinks. Tomorrow I'm planning to wet-Swiffer all 4 bathroom floors, and bleach / scrub both bathtubs!

Stay outta my way! I'm a mean, cleanin' machine!
