OK everything's back to normal now. DH came down with our mystery malady on Tuesday, and ended up staying home from work both Tuesday and Wednesday. Several others here at the office also seem to have suffered this, so I'm once again thinking it was just a bug.

Poor Joey still has the runs a bit, and he said something so funny last night. His little bottom's a bit sore, and he firmly announced to me last night that he "never wants to go poopy again." Not to say I can blame him, but it just sounded so silly.

This weekend, unless it's pouring rain, my plan is to open every window in the house for at least an hour. The house is just so closed up, since we were all so sick, and it's stuffy. I don't care if we end up dropping the house temperature by 30 degrees for a while, so long as I get some fresh air!!!

Joey loves preschool so much. It's funny - when I go to pick him up, they're usually having playtime (outdoors, weather permitting). Other parents are showing up at the same time I am, and their kids go running up to them with a big hug, all anxious to go home. Joey doesn't do that. He wants to stay. He doesn't want to go home. I guess I shouldn't take it personally, but still...

All week I've ended up driving to work instead of taking the train. Tuesday and Wednesday, I didn't have my monthly rail pass yet (forgot about it) and today, I overslept. So Joey's mad at me about that -- he looks forward to riding the train, and even hurries to get ready in the morning so we won't miss it. So, with me driving to work each day, I haven't been getting my walking in. No so bad, since the weather's been icky, but next week, I'm back to walking, I think.

Well, back to work. I have to finish this one task today, if it kills me!

I hope the bug flies away from your house and everyone is healthy again.
