I went to the dentist today to change out some old silver fillings to the nice purdy white ones.....well....the fillings that they did were on the top side of my mouth....which is where they froze me.....BUT here I am almost 4 hours later and now the bottom part of my face on that side is frozen???? It was not frozen 3 hours ago.....the freezing moved down?????? **** good thing it didn't do that while they were doing my fillings.....

Anyone else ever have that happen?

No, but the last time I had a filing worked on, they didn't numb me at all.

I am feeling ok....numbing finally went away about ohhhh 6 hours later

The only problem I have now (and that they warned me about was that I am sensitive to heat AND cold....go figure. My mouth was so sore this am from where they stuck the needles in I could not eat my salad....I had to go out and buy a soup for lunch

Hey, at least the numbing stuff works for you. The last time I had dental work done, they had to give like 25 shots of Novacaine over like 3 hours cause I wouldn't stay numb! They told me next time, I need to get me some happy gas! When I finally go in to get these teeth pulled, I'm having then knock my butt out. I don't want to know anything about it.
