It has been pouring down snow steadily for over an hour now! We have 2 or maybe 3 inches of accumulation. I know for those of you in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc, that that is not much, but for us it's a lot. The kids are so excited. We are going to get them dressed in just a bit and go out and play. We wanted to wait and let it accumulate a little more first.

This link should work for pictures.

If you look at the captions, we are closest to Columbus, Warm Springs, LaGrange, Pine Mountain, and Carrollton. If you look at the pictures that say "From 70's to snow" that is most indicative of what it's like at our house.

Here's another set of pictures. Tyrone is about 15 minutes from my house, and we live in Coweta County, but our snow is heavier than what the pictures show.

You can have it! LOL!

My friend in Nashville said they got about 4 inches of snow.

I haven't heard a definite yet, but I think we got about 4 inches, too. It was up to my ankles when I walked across the yard. Emily doesn't have school tomorrow either.
The kids had fun today. Travis got cold and didn't stay outside as long as Emily, but they both loved it.

awe...it is pretty. I love the snow that sticks to the trees.

Of course, I don't want anymore for a few days but I'm glad you are all enjoying it! It must be exciting to have it for a few days!

I just watched the morning news and we actually got over 5 inches. In some places it was as much as 7 inches. Getting snow is really unusual for us, and getting that much snow is even more unusual.

It snowed here in December for about an hour. The whole city was excited for weeks after!
