At first glance, Specilisterne looks just like any other thriving software company. However, these colleagues had to meet a certain job requirement in order to get hired -- they must have autism.

HOORAY! Thank God for people like this man! Just because someone has "special needs" never means that they can't give back in the real world! I want to look into this more carefully. People like this truly need our support and help.

The tech giant recently announced a pilot project aimed at hiring adults with autism for full-time positions. Microsoft's Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Operations Mary Ellen Smith helped get the project off the ground. She has a 19-year-old son on the autism speactrum. The pilot program kicks off in May with 10 candidates.
