I have started to hate the Lottery. While I know it wasn't the lottery per say that made this happen with John, but I feel it being in your face EVERYWHERE you go is to blame. While I have been doing all this gambling research, the stories I have read are horrible. About people who have little to nothing, spending their last dimes on lottery hoping for a win to make more money and more often than not, losing everything. Desperate people hoping for a little luck. The store owners know this, they know these people can't afford to waste their money, but they take it anyway because let's face it, that is how they make a buck.

I know the lottery does some good, look at the funding for education. The lottery is how Brandon got into Pre-K at no charge. But the OXY MORON? Did you know that each state lottery by LAW has to provide funds to help with gambling addiction??

I am sorry that this is happening, and I can totally see how you feel this way. I think the lottery does make it easier for gamblers to gamble--legally--even though before the lottery they had their opportunities, too. In my twenties, I dated a guy for a few years whose dad was a bookie. He lived in Fayetteville and neither he nor his wife worked. They paid cash for their house and for their cars, etc. He made a TON of money. I was floored to learn what he did for a living and to see how much money they had.
I, too, see the good side of the lottery. Thanks to the lottery, I have a college education and DH has his technical school degree.
I wish I knew the answer. It's the same as the debate we had a few months ago about pot being legalized and it's the same with alcohol. Some people can do it in moderation and some can't, and for those who can't it can be disastrous.
You and John and the kids are still in my prayers.

Kinda like gambling, but offers enough opportunities to become millionaire overnight. Simply you should have strong mathematical skill and learn the way to go ahead
