When I was shopping with my Mum and Greg, who was about 18 mnths old, Greg started acting up so I turned to my Mother and said "I wish you would make your son behave" (which I have said on the odd occasion) This time when she replied with the " HAH he's your son" this old Lady really got stuck into my Mother for "denying that beautiful little angel, and he can hear every word you say you know" and "imagine trying to put the blame on your poor sister (Ok Mum is young and we do look more like sisters) for the way your child is behaving instead of making the poor angel feel better."
OK the 'poor angel' was throwing a temper tantrum, this dear old thing was yelling at Mum, Mum was trying not to laugh in her face and I am in the next aisle having hysterics, and half the staff were doing the same thing (Mum was the Deli Manager at the supermarket we were shopping in), all in all I thought it was a lot of fun, and so did Mum, when she said "I'm sorry, you're right I'd better go take care of him now" and came around the corner to were we were all laughing until we cried, she was cracking up by then too, and Greg was so amazed by the way all of the adults were behaving so silly he stopped having a tantrum.
