I was just reading jenngorski02 thread I was so embarassed! and Des saw it, he not only could not believe the topic of the thread but how many of you had the same problem

He asked me to make a thread that the guys could ask him about stuff to do with babies, housework etc and he will give them the 'blokes' version of 'How to do it'.

Des is qualified ladies, when the twins were born this man not only changed nappies and did the 2am feedings as well as helping as much as he could with the housework, he was also working 60+ hours a week.

As he is off work with his back and I am working full time he is now the one doing the housework, cooking and shopping, he may not do it the way I do, but he does it.

We also have to learn that just bc it is not done the way we would do it, does not mean it has not been done (OK I know it is not done properly, but it is done so say "Thanks Love" and leave it alone )

So if your S/O's or DH's have any questions Des is ready to give the Blokes answer to 'her' jobs.

I fixed it Andrea my bad, my fingers have obviously been drinking and cannot type straight, the worst of it is, they don't even invite me out with them

If your fella has a question Des will be happy to answer it, this is really my hubby's thread, not mine , it's his idea, I personally can't wait to see the questions and answers.

Ok so well I guess that was MY questions not Court's...LOL Guess I need to read clearly before I get too excited!

Here is one from Court though...he thinks Abby hates him because there are a lot of times that no matter what he does...she screams and as soon as I take her she quits. So because of this he does not want to hold her so much. Any suggestions for him??

Well Maree finally got me on here, To answer your Question Meagan, Your hubby will have to spend more time with all 3 of your kids, mayby if you were in another room while he spends the time with them ,just incase he has problems then you are not far away, as time goes by , leave him a little bit longer with them,
I know that he is a military man and it makes it hard as he been away at times but he will have to make the effort and I think that would be the same problem with your little one. maybe if Abby see's you 2 together ie hugging in front of her, spending a little bit of time playing with her and her toys, she should come round to him,
I had this same problem with Ricky as I was working long hours and always missied seeing him when he was awake. When I took the time to be with him, it soon sorted itself out. hope that helps

Hi there.
My DH asks me this question a lot.

Why should I interrupt the kids doings, when I get home, to say hello?

This comes because I try to urge him to say hello when he gets home and good bye when he leaves. Any opinions/suggestions for us?

thanks for the welcolme ladies, only hope that some of my experiences can help in some way.

Robin, the only thing I can say is don't stop what you are doing. Tell your dh that although the kids don't seem to care one way or the other weather you say hello. They would be the first to say "whats up" after a while if you stopped saying hello as the do reconize any changes in the house no matter how small the change is.

Maree did the same to me in what you are trying to do with your dh. now I wouldn't change it for the world.
Ask your dh ,how would he feel if somebody walked past him without saying hello , like at work , I think kids do feel the same way when that happens to them, I could say a lot more on this but I think you get mty meaning,
