Hi Andrea,

I am new to this site. I am 31 yrs. old and am 14 weeks pregnant. (2nd child) I heard that pregnancys in the 30's are a lot more difficult than younger pregnancys. So far I have not found this to be true. My first was a lot more difficult. I do not even feel pregnant yet, no sickness, nothing. I told my husband a few weeks ago that I think the doctor made a mistake - until I heard the heartbeat this week.
Just thought I'd give you my 2 cents worth.

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca! Thanks for joining us! You know what they say, every pregnancy is different. My second pregnancy was a lot easier than my first as well, and I was 35 the second time around.

Personally, I though part of the pregnancy being easier was also know what to expect. My first pregnancy was SO bad that I thought it couldn't be much worse!

Of course, there is all that scientific research that women are at greater risk for complications when they are over 30, but I think it is still quite dependent on each individual woman and their personal and family history. Of course, I'm not an expert by any means!
