|Stink_Momma||Dina, you are right. I couldn't think of the right wording he told me! Germination, I think is what he said.|

|dinapooh2||How strange. I would have figured it had something to do with cross-polination or cross-breeding or something.|

|Dawn||Oh that IS weird! That could explain why one of our rose bushes seems to have changed colors. But they are only a few years old. Can't wait to see yours!|

It's very odd.
I know that you can change the color of a rose depending on fertilizer and stuff like that... but I"ve never seen it myself.

We planted several rose bushes in front of our house about 4 years ago. They were this peachy/pink color. Everyyear they do nicely.
The other day, I am checking them out and I notice they are covered in buds. Only the buds are not the same color the roses used to be. Very strange....
Our peach rose bushes have changed themselves into magenta rose bushes. And to top it off, the flower is completely different. DH was talking to his mom and telling her this, and she said it is normal. I am almost convinced we must have replaced them and just don't remember. So I mention it to my Babysitters DH who does landscape. He says, rose bushes will do this. When their lifespan as the mixed flower they were made to be, grows out, they revert to whatever flower it was originally.
Did you know that? I think it is bizarre. To top it off, one of the bushes, has one long limb that is still making my old roses!! I have got to take a picture for you all!
