I'm feeling better today, Lizzy. Thanks for asking!
No more dizziness, but still have the usual pounding headaches. MORE COFFEE!

Thank goodness it was nothing serious and hey, at least you got some valium out of the deal!
Yes, there is so much crap to deal with after someone passes away. I had to do it all when my dad died, and it was so tedious! However, I am glad that I had to do that because it won't be new and seem quite so burdensome when my mom passes since we all know I'll be the one to deal with it all then.
That's great news about Ryan. I know you are glad he will be off the prevacid.

How scary! I had something similar happen last year and passed out 3 or 4 times before Mike finally called an ambulance. They gave me the same virus story, but I still have a hard time buying that! SCARY stuff!
Take care and get some rest!

That is scarey that happened while you were driving! I'm glad you didn't black out or anything of that nature and that you are ok. That is really a strange virus attack (viruses can be very strange sometimes).
That is great that Ryan is doing much better!!!

Well, things are still interesting around here. I ended up in the ER Wednesday night. I was driving home and my world started spinning....worse than a bad drunk. So, I pulled over. I was talking to my sister at the time, then called my MD's office...I had just started a new medicine (my thyroid's out of whack...go figure... ) and they pretty much doubted it was that, so they wanted me to go to the ER. I waited until I could see straight (good idea, eh? ) and drove back to the hospital. I sat in the waiting room 2 1/2 hrs. Thank GOD I wasn't having a stroke or something. They did a bunch of labs, and EKG and a CT scan of my head. I got some antivert (for the dizziness) and 10mg IV Valium...... Valium GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! I got a nice 2-3 hr. nap and I heard DH's voice that woke me up....one of our neighbors stayed with the kiddos so he could come in to get me (valium and driving Do NOT mix!). So, we got home and to bed about 12 midnight.
Chris took Ryan to the Ped GI the next am, so I could sleep (all's well and ryan will be off prevacid by the end of the month) then I had the kiddos in the afternoon. I had them all day today and had to take them with to the MD for my follow-up visit. The only thing he can think of is that I had something viral that was effecting my inner ear -- it comes on suddenly and leaves just as quickly. He gave me some steroid nasal spray to help my sinuses drain too. (Sorry... TMI!) At any rate, I'm good now, just have the usual pounding headache.
I never realized all that happens after someone dies. I'm the Alpha-dog (so to say) in this situation, so I get to do all the work. There is so much follow up crapola from the funeral homes, it makes me ill.
Well, I'd better go. Ryan's calling. I'll update more later.
