|AutumnGirl||Sydney hated being on her stomach, that's probably why she didn't roll over until almost 5 months. We still gave her "tummy time" but she sure didn't like it much.|

|Cheyanne||Sarah just hates it!It's kind of funny though. She gets mad and looks like she is trying to crawl. She digs her feet in and actually moves forward.I think probubly , tummy time also helps them learn to crawl eventually.|

|lvissers||Darien hated tummy time and Jonas doesn't like it to well either. He gets plenty of tummy time now, because he is rolling. He can roll onto his stomach, but most of the time can't roll to his back. I let him play on the floor with some toys until he starts to get upset then I get down on his level and talk to him. (He loves to be talked too)|

Sometimes it helps to prop them up on a bobby pillow or roll a towel and put it under their chest with their arms over it. It seems a little more comfortable.
None of my kids liked playing on their tummy when they were really little but got used to it after awhile.

|Joy1||I started both of mine out with just a few minutes here and there during the day. Both hated tummy time at first. The key is entertaining them enough so that they forget to cry!|

|Liz&NicksMom||Liz was never too fond of it...but we did it daily.....we had toys that she could play with. tummy time is very important as it helps to strengthen their neck muscles and upper body (they try to hold their head up)....and it also helps so that they dont' get that flat bald spot on their head|

I play with Kelsey while she is on the floor. We put up 4 or 5 rattles and teething toys in front of her and she goes crazy reaching and grabbing them all.
She is also has two toys made my Playskool that are just for tummy time. She loves them both!

|AWKSMOM||I do the same as Jennifer and get down on the floor and play. Shake a rattle to get them to look up and around or hold a mirror so they can see themselves. Anything to help them strengthen their neck and arm muscles. Sometimes they like being on their tummies and other times they don't.|

well, one of my books says to make sure they get pretty of tummy time....
Do any of you give your babies tummy time? What kind of activities do you do with them while they're on their stomachs?
