NicoleB Rhyne is still in her crib, but will hopefully be moving into a twin size bed as soon as we find one!

Cheyanne I thought people were telling you to put him in a regular bed!!!!geeeeeeeeeeesh!!!! It's not like you have another baby on the way or anything!
None of my 3 older kids ever fell out of their cribs by climbing out!More likely a baby would fall out of a regular bed while sleeping, then to fall out of a crib, while crawling out! I remember "helping" my kids learn to clib out the right way so they didn't fall.I know that sounds crazy too.Better then falling on their heads though!
Ethan is just a baby!Keep him in that crib!

dinapooh2 Jonathan is almost 25 months, and he loves his crib. I'm going to keep him in it a little longer.

DQKaren I moved lys around her 2nd birthday. I should have kept her in her crib longer too, cause I'm with Shari on this one, Lys spends most of her night in bed with me.

Shari I think that lowering his mattress in the crib is the first step. Once he starts being able to get out of his crib (with the matress the lowest possible) then I think it's time to switch to a 'big boy bed'.

Which - is just a toddler bed. Well, I guess it could be any bed, any size. Just out of the crib.

I think when others were reading your previous post, they thought the mattress was down as low as it could go.

Kyler moved into his 'big boy bed' when he was 22 months old.
I wish I could have kept him in the crib longer to be honest with you. Now that he's in his 'big boy bed'... it seems like he spends most of his nights in mommy's bed!!

trustinhim7 When I posted Ethan's picture in the pictures forum a couple of people made comments about how it's time to move him to a big boy bed...What do you mean? We lowered his crib and I thought they stayed in there as long as they still fit.

So, what do you mean by big boy bed and when did you move your babies/toddlers out of their crib and into a "big boy bed"?

What exactly IS a big boy bed? Thanks!!!
