Meagan I'd say pre-70's is oldies...I love classic rock and 80's stuff.

Seabeacon 50's and 60's.

LuAnn I'd say anything pre-60's is a shoe-in.

but then when I realized that I graduated high school two years before some of my co-workers....WERE BORN....that presents a strong case for anything pre-80's as well.

Jen I do not listen to anything earlier than the 80s (and I them). I refuse to accept the 80s as oldies, though.
I guess I would consider anything before the mid 70s as oldies (from before I was born. )

Shari I think anything '60's and earlier is "oldies" to me.
However... there are some songs in the early '70's that fall into that catergory as well.

Miss Bea Haven I consider the 50s and early 60s to be oldies. However, listening to the radio makes me feel old because of the way the refer to 80s music as classic rock, old school, etc.

dinapooh2 I always think of it as 50's and 60's music. Beach Boys, The Platters, The Supremes.

dinapooh2 What kind of music do you consider to be “oldies”? 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s??? Do you have a favorite “oldies” song or group?
