Shari HEY - I KNOW that Song!!!!!

She's starting school already???
What happened to starting after labor day? I know up here we have been starting the last week of August... and I thought THAT was early!

Good luck with the storm!

Elaine Yep! It wouldn't have been good without them.

Jannie I died at the first one so I cant wait to see the second one. ALl same characters?

Elaine The outer banks are the main hitting point. We will just get grazed inland.

I though the Whole 10 Yards was funnier just because you have the background from the whole 9 yards. It isn't really something you can watch and understand if you haven't seen the first one. You won't get some of the humor.

Jannie Was "the whole ten yards" funnier than the first? I and DH loved the first!

Take care with Alex around you! Batten down those hatches! Are you the main hit there?

Elaine Today is Haley's first day of 3rd grade!! I'm a little bummed that the summer, at least in some ways, is over but also ready to get back into the swing of things. I think Haley was ready to go back too. She had gotten really restless over the past few weeks and has done nothing but fight with her brother and whine.
It is also a bit scary having her go into 3rd grade. I can easily remember being a 3rd grader. I had my first "boyfriend", my first kiss (although very innocent), my first big blow up with a friend. My baby is in for a lot this year. She is a year younger than I was in 3rd grade though.

Also another big sign of August came this morning with our first hurricane out on the coast. Hurricane Alex thankfully seems to be sparing most areas but we still have to watch the outerbanks for the rest of the day. We've had a lot of rain here and lost power for an hour or so last night with one of the storms but that is probably all we will see of Alex here. *fingers crossed*

I have nothing exciting planned for today. I'm expecting 13 going on 30 from Netflix. I've been wanting to see it for awhile. It is pretty pathetic when the high point of your day is checking the mail.
We watched The Whole 10 Yards last night and let me just say
BWAHHAHAHAHA! It was hilarious. I think I may be in love with Bruce. *dreamy eyes*

I hope you all have a great day!
